Raiders Are No Match For The Jets

Curtis Martin stood in street clothes on the sideline and watched as the Jets got their first win in seven games. It has been a really tough season for the Jets but beating the Raiders 26-10 was a highlight. Bollinger had a good game with 119 yards passing and one touchdown. Rookie Cedric Houston ran for 74 yards and one touchdown. Mike Nugent kicked four field goals throughout the game, the longest being from 35 yards back. The Green & White had a great day pressuring the quarterback as they totaled six sacks: John Abraham (2), Mark Brown, Lance Legree, James "Tank" Reed, & Bryan Thomas. Ty Law picked off his sixth pass of the season in the second quarter. The Jets head to Dolphin Stadium next week for a 1 pm. game that will air on CBS. Check out this link for the week 15 game release. With a record of 3-10 the Jets are still in the hunt for Reggie Bush.

The Jets Are Getting Good At Kicking Field Goals!

Mike Nugent has seen a lot of plays his first season at the Jets kicker. Since New York is scared of getting over the actual goal line, Herm calls on Mike to finish the job. The Jets lost another game, seven in a row, 16-3 against the New England Patriots. Gillette Stadium played host to the Gang Green with a 4:15 kickoff time. Curtis Martin rushed for only 29 yards not to be outdone by Bollinger who threw for 135 yards and one interception. The game was played in cold weather as the Jets scored in the second quarter with a 38-yard field goal. Reggie Bush is now on the Jets radar with only four games left. The remaining schedule is as follows so stay tuned for the Reggie Bush hunt.
