Raiders Are No Match For The Jets
Curtis Martin stood in street clothes on the sideline and watched as the Jets got their first win in seven games. It has been a really tough season for the Jets but beating the Raiders 26-10 was a highlight. Bollinger had a good game with 119 yards passing and one touchdown. Rookie Cedric Houston ran for 74 yards and one touchdown. Mike Nugent kicked four field goals throughout the game, the longest being from 35 yards back. The Green & White had a great day pressuring the quarterback as they totaled six sacks: John Abraham (2), Mark Brown, Lance Legree, James "Tank" Reed, & Bryan Thomas. Ty Law picked off his sixth pass of the season in the second quarter. The Jets head to Dolphin Stadium next week for a 1 pm. game that will air on CBS.
